I referred to Don as my higher power.
This came about one day when a colleague of mine asked why I don’t feel anxious when I do renovations or Commission for fine pieces of art. I told her I don’t worry because I turn it over to my higher power, who makes everything work. Right now he’s working on a rental on mine were the whole inside has been gutted. As soon as he finishes he’ll be working on renovations on a 1.5 million dollar office building. Not only am I confident he will be easy to work with, I also know his work will be exceptional.
My story doesn’t stop there. There’s a 30 foot totem pole that he created out of a dead tree in my front yard, or the multiple statues he carved from a 70 foot Hemlock Tree we cut down. Or I could tell you about the wonderful paintings that are hanging in my office.
Don has worked with me on projects for over 20 years. I commissioned him to do so much art that I’ve lost count of the large variety of wonderful things he’s created. Obviously, I think very highly of him. As usual I’m excited about the current projects were working on together.
